This years draft could be a make or break draft for many teams. There are many good prospects, but not many superstar QB's. The difficulty for many of the bad teams picking first is that almost all of them need that franchise QB. Bridgewater, Manziel, and Bortles are the big 3 that are being looked at, but none of them are sure fire hits. I think that all of them can and will be successful, but they aren't immediate franchise QB's, they all need some work. With so many teams needing a QB, the reach for these and others might be further than they would like. Last year the Jets reached for Geno Smith and he had a rough year. If teams don't have to reach for a QB there are some interesting choices to look at, Carr, Mettenberger, Garafalo, McCarron, Murray, etc... These players might be just as good, just taken in later rounds, which means less pressure on them to produce immediately and of course, less money.
At RB many experts are split between Tre Mason of Auburn & Carlos Hyde of Ohio State as the best available. Both are fast and strong, but my bias puts Carlos as the better prospect. He is the ONLY RB ever to rush for over 100yds. under Urban Meyer. He ran for 1521 on 208 carries and he missed the first 3 games. He is a monster in between the tackles and fast enough to get to the second level quickly. When he breaks into the secondary it gets scary because the little DB's do NOT want to tackle him. I believe that both will be good to great RB's especially under the right system.
